The joy of all Nigerian students know no bound as the Federal Government announced new development on reopening of schools.
As a way of curbing the spread of Covid-19, the Federal Government had shut down schools since late March this year. Ever since, efforts are being made to ensure that things come back to normal.
Everyone is now happy. Most especially, the WAEC candidates.
There is a development as the Federal Government yesterday provided some specific guidelines for reopening of schools in the country.
As reported by DailyPost, the guidelines announced by the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, on Friday cover four thematic areas.
Other reports have it that the government has consulted widely and had decided that schools will reopen on September 5
Concerning the 2020 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination, WASSCE that was initially cancelled. The Federal Government and West African Examination Council have agreed to shift the date of West African Senior School Certificate Examination from the August 4 to September 5, 2020, earlier announced by the Council.
