It’s no longer news that the Federal Government of Nigeria, has announced 4th of August, 2020 for the resumption of schools. As discussed yesterday been the 27th of August, 2020 Monday in Abuja by educational stakeholders.
The director, press and public Relations, Federal Ministry of education, Sir Ben Ben Goong said that stakeholders have agreed that the students in the exit classes of primary schools and secondary schools should resume immediately, so as to enable them prepare for the WASSCE on the 17th of August, 2020.
The director on Monday also released a statement that says that another meeting is to be convened on Tuesday which is the 28th of August, 2020. Between the Federal Ministry of Education and the Chief Executives of Examination bodies namely ;NECO, NABTEB, GCE etc in order to harmonize on the examination dates.
The meeting that was held today been the 28th of August, 2020 ,around 10am ,has it that, the West African Senior School Examination (WASSCE) time table for 2020 shall be released this weekend either Friday or Saturday been the 31st of August, 2020 or 1st of August, 2020.
The board also warns candidates not to accept any timetable circulating on social medias, websites and other platforms. As they render it to be fake.
Candidates need to be patient till weekend when the Original Waec Timetable for 2020 shall be released by WAEC.
