The Chief Executive of NECO (National Examination Council), Professor Godswill Obioma announced on Monday in Abuja that the registration for the 2020 NECO examination would end on the 10th of September 2020.
Professor Godswill Obioma informed the stakeholders that the exam body is in disagreement with the extension of the registration period by the Federal Ministry of Education.
Professor Godswill Obioma stated that the deadline will allow adequate preparation for the forthcoming examination, he used the same medium to remind the public that the 2020 NECO examination will begin on the 5th of October 2020 and is stipulated to end on the 18th of November 2020.
He said “The National Examination Council wishes to remind all stakeholders and the general public that the deadline for the registration of schools and examination candidates for the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) is Thursday, September 10th”.
With this announcement, students should prepare adequately for the exams and schools should get their students registered on time.
